Hey!
« on: Fri, 12 October 2012, 00:00:47 »
Hey guys, New here as you can tell.

Nice to meet you all.
I have a question though.. I may or may not have bought a keycap set here from a member.. Keycap didn't come as advertised since there was two keycaps of 1 button included which messed things up.
What's reasonable to ask for In return of the mistake? (Seller doesn't have anymore keycaps of that kind).

I don't want to go all ape poop on this guy for that mistake but what do you guys think Is fair to do?

Just message them and ask for a replacement set.  It SHOULD be perfect.

I'd ask for a refund plus refund for return shipping.

Which key cap set was it? You might be able to get it from overrun if it was made by SP.

Welcome to the wonderful and friendly Geekhack community!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
