When I still had a job as a plumber, I would all ways make lunch at home, to ensure I would not eat more than I needed.
have some chewing gum, works for me at least, makes me not get that fake hunger feeling as much.
I would recommend jogging instead of cycling, but obviously not to work and back home again

Another tip for whenever you get that feeling for chocolate/candy is to brush your teeth. ( probably work for when you are feeling hungry too!)
