Does anyone here shave with a straight razor?

Hey all, so I've been interested in going with straight razors for daily shaving.  I've done what everyone should do before asking the internet for help, and I've read through the first couple pages of Google and taken a look at the various best rated razors, sharpeners and cream.

But I'm interested in hearing what the local Geekhack community has to say!

Do any of you use straight razors?  Tried?  It is great?  Is it awful?

I currently use a double edged razor(Edwin Jagger DE89). I've considered getting a straight razor but for me it would be too expensive to get a decent one.

I learned to shave with a straight razor (from my grandfather).  I still have one at my parents house,  but use an electric for day to day.
