CmStorm quickfire pro too slow for boot

Hey guys.

Just realised that I can't get into BIOS menu when my PC boots, it seems like keyboard only get's powered on when the Windows 7 is almost fully loaded.
Yet my Razer keyboard has no issues starting right away with my PC.

Any suggestions how to overcome this issue?

Is this true with a warm-reset?  (ie: machine is on, hit the reset button or tell windows to restart)

Considering it's USB NKRO, the implementation might be incompatible with your BIOS or BIOS in general.  Which is not cool.  So basically you need another KB to get into your BIOS.

Did it come with the KB?  Because the specs on CM's site don't say anything about PS/2 at all, just USB.

Not entirely sure if it is compatible with the controller.... I know the rapid is, but I had never used a USB->ps/2 converter with Pro.

It didn't come with the keyboard and since my keyboard is partially backlit i don't think that it will even work

But it used to work before, I was able to get into bios just fine pressing "DEL" key but i had issue when it come to using the keyboard in boot menu

I'd say turn off NKRO and switch back to 6KRO before you reboot, see if that works.

Does it matter if i use USB 3.0 or 2.0 ports?

Not likely.

It may matter if you enabled/disabled legacy usb support. It 'should' work with 6kro mode in bios. The ps2 adapter probably wont work.
