That was a great idea by clickclack/elitekeyboards.  Still think they should have just limited it to just one entry for one cap mind.

I've entered for two and I've gotten confirmation e-mails so it should be fine.
I also sent them an e-mail asking about it just in case.

Did they reply? I'm still waiting on confirmation as to whether we can enter multiple drawings or just one. The SKU argument people are posting is not particularly convincing and their wording is somewhat vague.

The conditions have been updated.

Yes: "1. One drawing entry per person (per keycap model).".
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Took me between 5 and 10 minutes to figure out that a drawing is not necessarily something you do with pen and paper, I was already pulling out my Wacom..

Well then good luck with the drawing folks!

I went down for 4, the 3 I would have tried to buy with the 3 limit of a normal sale, + one for luck. If it is truly random then I guess you could put down for 8 and actually get 8, or none.

you could try and scam it by having friends enter but hopefully most of us wouldn't be such arses.

There isn't a way to really deal with that except to look at IP address, and even then that would only catch a few people.

The way I see it is you play ball and eventually things go your way, the people who usually cheat and scam systems are never happy...

I put in for the four MX variants. I'm only really interested in two of them, but if I get one of the others, it will be for trading only. I'm not trying to scalp the things, just get ones I like and hopefully help someone else find the ones they want. I didn't enter for the topres because I don't have a topre board, and that felt more like denying someone who could've used them the chance to win.

Yeah, they say that you must pay if you win... not sure how they would enforce that though.

So they won't allow you to give up your place in the sale to someone else if you decide you don't want it?  Lame...

I mean, what if I were to be chosen for three of them but I decide I only want two?

I guess that's exactly what they're trying to prevent by saying that you can't alter your shipping address, which only just occurred to me after you mentioned it. I would assume that they'd let you back out of the purchase and it would just go to some other random person, but the point is that you can't transfer your win to a person of your choosing.

It's not an ideal solution but I guess it's the best they can do under the circumstances.

Why would you register to buy something that you don't want to buy?  ???

Honestly, there are a couple of old clacks I sort of like, namely the julysicle and a couple of the skulls. . .

but mostly for profit LOL

To be frank, I just don't understand the "point" of a 30/100 dollar keycap. Yeah they look sweet, but you can get a whole set of caps for that (CCnG anyone?).

It's like spending money just to spend money. Is that 300 dollar pair of shoes really 10 times better than a well made 30 dollar pair of shoes?

Thanks for the heads up. Seems we broke some utf-8 functionality while making sure that some polish characters are properly transliterated...

In fact we intend to *not* store or use characters with accents or anything that is not in the 26 letter English alphabet because we ship using automated shipping systems that do not accept such characters.

BTW, I'd recommend that anyone who can represent their name or address with the English alphabet (and does not natively) do so *always* when ordering something shipped to or from your country in order to avoid shipping mistakes and delays.
