Final decision hasn't been made yet. Ben from SP will be posting pics of actual samples of our color options when they start up again from the holiday break.

He says that the red/white will match perfectly with this because it's also SP! I'd be willing to trade key caps for the other set of colors. I ordered WoR, and will need RoW for my other media keys.

Okay, here are the mockups with the RoG mods. The colors aren't super accurate, since we don't have pantone color codes or even RBG codes, but it's what I could do with the color picker from a photo of the greys on a color ring (kbd holic's photo).

Would you be able to show both samples next to some RDD on WFK keys?

I saw that you wanted to get closure by Jan 2 so I ran over to the shop and dug up a couple samples to photograph for the RoG thing.

The arrows are on our sample board from the previous build which I guess were GAL+RDD.  You can see how GCF compares, like I said before it is quite close, a bit more brown and bit darker.  The darker grey is GA.

Also per the request from jdcarpe I found a WFK+RDD sample so you can compare it to that.

So yeah, i'd still say GA/GAL to be honest. Not sure if the pictures will change other people's minds, but it's pretty much set in stone for me now. RoGAL(maybe GA too), or RoW

Standard full touch caps lock will be center stemmed. Tsangan kit stepped caps lock is off center. We do have a mold for center stemmed stepped caps lock, but I don't think that's included with this GB, unless there is demand for it.

Also, just to clarfiy: so this set will use "Fn" keys rather than traditional menu keys right like in h mockups right? And what type of windows logos will these keys use? Windows 7 or 8?

It will be traditional menu key and win7 win logo.

25+36+32+27+20=$140 is quite a large sum. That cost would have been fine like 2 month ago. Now I got my hopes up for PBT or Cherry and now I am subconsciously comparing everything to that.

Correct, I'll take new orders until I send money to SP Feb 2.  Considering the lack of support through the "official" GMK people, I'm just sticking with them.
