White alps switch repair
« on: Tue, 20 November 2012, 18:34:05 »
Hi all,
I recently picked up an alps board, and its really nice, except for the fact one of the keys sometimes doesn't trigger. Are these switches easy enough to open and inspect? The keyboard is a Chicony/Addison KB-7001 with white alps switches (not sure about complicated/simplified). If anyone can point me to a guide to fixing these switches or cleaning the contacts inside, I'd be game to try it. Otherwise, seems to be a nice keyboard.

Thanks!
