I wrote a question about which one to get. Unfortunately, I´m on a budget. I was told the one with Cherry Reds.

A friend of mine told me about you guys, and that you´ld never give me bad advice :)

Well, I´m glad to say I´m not the only "aging" geek. I am the proud founder of clan MPA in SC2 on NA server. We are counting 70+ members now and most of us is beyond 30. Oldest member so far is 61 :)

Well guys, seems my question remains unanswered. I´m on a budget but my Logitech G15 no longer does very well. I need a new keyboard and was told to get one with Cherry Reds. What do you think ? I´ve seen the Steelseries G6V2 at a reasonable price, but was adviced against it. So.... what alternatives do I have ?

Welcome to Geekhack!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
