GOT MY DUCKY!!!

I got the Ducky Shine II with red LEDs and MX Blue Switches :D

Same as mine - red LED and MX blue (except mine is a Shine version 1).  That was and still is my first modern mechanical keyboard.

The Cherry stabilizers do feel stiff. I suppose that's normal?

A bit of lithium grease on the joints can help.  You can also mod them to make them feel a bit more like Costar stabs.

Wait, correct me if I'm wrong, but lithium grease has a significant amount of petroleum distillates...which are known to degrade plastic (especially ABS) rather quickly as it can penetrate the material.  I would recommend pure synthetic teflon lube, like from dupont.  You don't want any petroleum, so full synthetic.  Or I heard KG-8 has good reviews.  But yeah, my spacebar sometimes squeeks very very little on occasion.

Ohhhhh congrats !!!  I think the only complaint I have with Ducky is that I wish they had separate LED indicator for num/caps/scroll lock, because num lock is typically on but scroll and caps lock are typically off and it look weird having 2 keys with no lights on.

Otherwise yes Ducky seems to be the best backlit board right now  :)

Green are nice too (he said, with the green lights from this Ducky Shine reflecting off his face).

I have one red and one green - maybe I should bring them together ni a Christmas celebration.
