Filco Majestouch 2 Paint Issue

Hey guys,

my recently bought Filco (Colour Black,tenkeyless,mx browns) is beginning to show some shine below the spacebar, right on the edge
where it becomes a 90 degree angle. Literally got this yesterday and have been washing my hands to try and avoid oils from the hands. Any other owners out there have this issue or am I just being to picky? Just kind of worried if this will happen to to the entire bottom part of the case.

Wow. I've had mine for a year+ and don't have any wear marks. Maybe it's a defective unit? I'd contact whoever you got it from.....

The black case is not painted. It is just bare ABS plastic. Not much you can do other than keeping your finger off of it. Do you rest your wrist on the desk when you type? If you elevate your wrist a little, you can avoid touching the corner.

I try to elevate while typing but whilst playing games it's fairly hard to do. (jumping with space bar)

I don't think it's shine/wear, seems like you've just got oily/moist hands. Some people have dry hands, some don't. Even if you wash your hands, it will still produce oil over time and cause the keys to become shiny.

Here is a photo of the mark itself. You can kind of see the coarseness with the camera flash on. Is this anything to be worried about, or should I let it slide. The only problem is that i actually received it on Wednesday, and don't know how this could've happened in this time. Anyone advise me on what to do from here?
