Blank keycaps for the QuickFire Rapid
« on: Mon, 03 December 2012, 19:23:13 »
I just got my first mechanical, a QuickFire Rapid with blue switches :D
I'm in love with it. Anyways, this isn't the point.

What is a good blank keycap set for the QuickFire Rapid? Preferably with another key with a LED hole viewer thingy because the F9 key also serves as a Windows lock key with an LED.
I think  I'd want PBT, and maybe white because someone has done this and it looks really nice.

Those look like the keys off of a Otaku Leopold.

Is that the original unbranded gray case?

Good eyes, looks like that's why they had to use a different space bar.

My signature hasn't changed since 2012. I should really update it.

Yup. Its too bad that they didn't modify the stems. I really like the full white look, if only for those LED windows.

They don't come in windowed keycaps, but you should be able to see the red LED through the PBT if it's on.

Okay, just tested. With IMSTO white PBT, you can easily see the LED shine through it. It looks really great, actually. Better (over an LED) than SP white PBT.
Using my gray IMSTO Geek Hack key, I could not see the LED through the keycap at all, but the light was still visible reflected off the plate.

I already know I'll be very happy with my IMSTO PBT Dvoark sets now.
