hi i'm new

hi everybody
2 weeks ago i read an article about mechanical keyboards. after some research i found this forum and since then i'm on geekhack around 1-2 hours a day. seems like the "magic" of mechanical keyboards got me.
so im looking forward to buy a mechanical keyboard, this leads me to my first question where to ask for some advise / experience / tipps / trick etc. ? should i just start a new thread ?

as you may notice i'm not a native speaker so feel free to ask questions if you dont understand something

For advice about a keyboard, you can either ask here.  Or post a new thread in the keyboards section which generally gets a few more hits.
