We should take a group photo holding each others keyboards and then make the rest of geekhack guess who we are. And then show the real picture of us holding our actual keyboards just to mess with them.

Awww but from the way it look like my PBT keycaps won't arrive in time, so I only have stock keyboards and I'll look lame

Well looks like enough people are bringing normal Topres that I won't need to bring my checkerboard variable 103UB. I'll bring all my mechanical short throws then, Topre and ML, coicncendentally saving me tons of space in my luggage on the bus ride home to Toronto XD

Depending on what I bring, I may bring the parts to build the converters with me if people want to try them out. Haven't really decided on this yet.

lol I don't mind trying poker or pure.  Sorry I'm still pretty noob and haven't get to try too many keyboards yet 

Oh and I've acquired Matias Quiet Pro today puahahahahah ~~~  Though if we're going to the Matias Tour I'd assume they'll have that one over there for us to try.

Other than that I only have a Beige Filco MX Red and Das MX Brown.  So if no one says anything I'll just leave those at home sorry I don't have anything cool

Btw so I've been using Matias Quiet Pro for about a day now.  I have to say initial impression wise it feels a bit mushy like o-ring compared to Tactile Pro since I tested them side by side.  So it was kinda meh initially but as I use it more and more it start to feel more and more tactile and "crunchier" I'm not sure how and why.  And after a day of use now I think they feel great.

If you guys have the extra cash I'd recommend picking one up on the day of tour

Though whatever you do just make sure djf doesn't bring that much with him also because I drive a Mazda 3 Sedan which has limited trunk space LOL.

EDIT:  Well actually the sedan can fit 2 large suitcases so as long the total count doesn't get more than that then we're good lol.

Matias is offering free pizza at their cafeteria at 12:30.  Sorta why I put down arrive at 12:00 noon so we have enough time to gather everyone then go in to eat pizzas lol.

Decided to prepare my Burroughs Optoelectric USB converter, so you guys will get to see what it's like to type on a Parabolic force keyboard. It also has a built in "configurable" clicker!

Also now I'm trying to find the optimal way to carry keyboards.  Gym bag + lots of towels?
