Noppoo Choc Mini Mx Cherry Red PLEASE HELP

Sorry if there is a post about this but I just got in my noppoo choc mini

There's an integrated numpad that is combined with the letters/numbers 7890, uiop, jkl;, and m.,/. And every time I hit one of those letters random letters will come up.

For example when I hit the letter i it would type something like qwerty[* or something random like that and if i pressed the letter k it would type some random letters turn caps on and press enter on its own... I have tried using the function key to turn the individual numpad keys off ive tried turning on/off numlock

Please help

-I tried getting help over at Overclock.net and was told that someone had the same problem and got it fixed from here, I couldn't find the post he was referring to but if someone could help me that would be awesome!

Yeah this is really annoying me because I really wanna use my noppoo mini choc.... With numlock off its only the "8ik," that cause issues im going to plug it in really quick and show you what it does when i hit each letter once....

as you can see "k" will turn capslock on at the end of its little typing sequence... a few of them, i believe "i" and "," also enter/return but I grouped the random stuff together to give you an idea as to what it types.... each of those are just when i tap the key once...

What computer are you using?

Do you use USB, or PS/2. Experienced some weird stuff with USB (mostly that the numpad layer didn't work at all).

im using a custom built pc... and yes usb

Try PS/2. It may, or may not help.

If I remember correct, someone else did have a similar problem, and it turned out one of the controller pins was not soldered correctly, or maybe a broken trace or something to that effect. If you just got it I would look into return for a replacement (assuming you got it new from a vendor) unless you are really comfortable with opening it up and repairing such thing yourself.

hmm the last odd noppoo thread was about a guy with a laptop that had a default enabled numpad...

So I can only suggest going into bios and making sure boot with numlock is disabled and legacy usb is supported.

I wouldn't really used ps/2 with the choc mini, it works but I experienced key chatter...

If possible try on another computer / laptop...
