[SOLD] Red Alert 2.0 TLK base set - $65
« on: Wed, 30 January 2013, 13:02:23 »
I got a set of PBTs that I like more, so I'm looking to get some money back on this RA set I bought a few weeks ago. They still look like new. Asking $75 $65 shipped. [SOLD]

It looks like ordering a similar set from the current Klaxon group buy would be: $22 for base + $25 for modifiers + $8 shipping = $55 total.
I'm lowering my price to $65 shipped. So for the extra $10, you can get your very own RA set now, instead of waiting for the group buy to finish.

It's not going to be the same, the klaxon is using a different font, and personally I like the wyse font from the ra2.0 more.

I'm pretty sure the SP font *is* WYSE.

I'll double check, though.

I bought a RA2 set a while ago cuz I didnt want to wait for Klaxon.

regardless of the difference, I can proudly say I own a set of RA2, instead of some knockoff :p

GLWS!

edit: those RoG mods from Klaxon look awesome though, if the fonts are the same I may jump back in

The Koreans had a few GBs that are called RA 1.0, 2.0, 2.1.  Ragnarok's set (above) is sometimes called RA2.0 also.  To remove ambiguity I have taken to calling it "Fake Alert" even though that name has negative connotations and was coined as a derisive term.  It is quicker than saying "Rag's Red Alert".

When you mean $65 shipped, i assume you within the US?  Will you ship to UK and if so how much?

Yup. Shipping to the UK looks like it's $7 more expensive , so $72 shipped for you. You might have to pay some Paypal exchange rate fees too, but I don't know how much those are.

Paypal International rates are 3.9% + 30 cents, vs 2.9% domestic. I've noticed a few discrepancies with this if the buyer pays in a foreign currency (Paypal charges the seller to convert the currency) but its always been within a few cents so I've just gone with that.

Sorry for posting in ya FS thread, but actually it gives the buyer an option if they want to pay the fees themselves when changing currency, or has done to me all the time. You can choose if you pay it or if the seller pays it and yeah, it's only a few cents or so.
