I've been using Model M's as my primary keyboard since I bought my first PS/2 Mod 60 way back when. I've had this SSK for maybe 15 years, never got around to tracking down its heritage. I know it is extremely rare. Still works like a champ, is in perfect condition, has never been disassembled. It could use a cleaning.
I've found pictures of other Industrial SSKs, but almost nobody posts the back label. Most of the labels I've seen are laser printed and have dates 1995 or later.
Mine is from September 1992 and has a dot matrix printed label.
The only other one like this that I've seen is
this 1990 one at clickykeyboards.
That is not part number 41G3600 however, and it has a grey and white letter flat logo. My logo is black with raised silver letters.
My pictures are here.
I'm wondering if anyone knows what the oldest industrial SSKs are still out in the wild and if there are any more pictures of ones of this age. Also interested in pictures of the internals for any industrial M's, but SSK's in particular.
I'm new here, but digging through these forums I know there are some owners of these in here, so any input is more than welcome.
Thanks.
( Yes, I see the prices they go for, but no, it's not for sale at the moment.

It is my favorite keyboard, I'd sell my grandmother first. )
