Greetings from Connecticut
« on: Sat, 09 February 2013, 03:15:35 »
Hey everyone, I've been visiting geekhack for weeks now and I have decided that it's time to join.  :D I'm pretty new to keyboards in general but i'm learning quickly and eager to learn more. I currently have a Noppoo Choc Mini with Cherry MX Reds and sold my Das pro (Cherry blues) and am now looking into topre boards. Just thought i'd introduce myself because i'm sure i'll start engaging a bit more as I continue to explore the site. On a more personal note i'm from Connecticut and I enjoy gaming (Dota 2 + Black Ops 2). so if anyone wants to play let me know!

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice collection you are starting :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Way too much snow, pleasantly surprised when I never lost power though.
