How to tell if a WYSE keyboard is mechanical?

Hey guys, I have done a lot of searching and I cannot figure out how to tell if a WYSE keyboard is using Cherry MX switches. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with these keyboards, and could shed a little insight on whether these keyboards are in fact using mechanical switches.

Main keyboard in question: WYSE 900130-01  (http://www.ebay.com/itm/WYSE-900130-01-84-Key-Keyboard-/110989756525?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item19d781486d)

Any ideas would be appreciated!!

It's the first time I have seen that model, but I will say that it is highly likely that is MX based as it appears to have the navy on white/beige doubleshots.

are you just trying to find a cheap alternative? or I mean just a cheap Cherry MX board?

I have not seen that keyboard before. I think that it is likely to be MX, though, as I don't see any key that is of any different style from those of the Wyse PCE or Wyse ASCII.

Thanks for the replies guys, I posted on reddit as well and some users seemed to think that the stepped caps key (as well as the blue on beige caps that you have mentioned) is a pretty strong indicator that they are cherry mx switches.

A rubber-dome Wyse keyboard can also have a stepped Caps Lock key, but the "stepped" area is smaller. The mechanical keyboards' Caps Lock are like a 1.25 key with some extra on it, just like a Cherry corp Caps Lock.

Why not ask the seller to look under a key and check for you?
