I believe I've seen a couple that have the silly feet on flat case. I think I read the slanted is the old design whilst the new design is with the feet although that's what I've read.

Sorry to threadcrap, but what about the Topre switch didn't you like? Some people decide they like it, after they try it for a week or so. Or is it the layout of the HHKB you don't like? Or both?

Love the layout of the HHKB and I'm seriously considering getting a KMAC Happy.

I feel the Topre switch lacks control, its a blast to type on but as a "competitive gamer" CherryMX Reds provide a much more raw and controlled feeling. But its all preference so bleh! And in the end the Topre switch is what I would consider a true middle ground between membrane and mechanical.

I do plan to pick another HHKB up in the future when I actually need to type papers but for now its not something I need.

Interesting. I'm making a Black and Green board, specifically for CS.

Where else have you been experiencing "fumbling" because of the linear switches? Having 1-5 as Greens is probably smart.

This was my plan. Except Shift/Spacebar are going to be Greens because theyre my push to talk for mumble and ingame chat respectively. Mouse 4 is my walk key right now, but that needs to change. I'm not sure what to change it too though. I might make my Spacebar walk and then find a new in game chat since it's not as crucial. Is your F not linear? I use that for throwing weapons.

I'm just now moving over to CS after playing some other FPS games competitively so I'm still working around certain controls. My G is currently throw weapon whilst my F is Ready Up. I need to move my Jump to something else but again still working on the game mechanics.

are you playing GO? what do you mean "Ready Up"? like in match making? I can help you out with any adjustments you need to make. I also played another FPS competitively before moving full time to GO, although I played that other game and Source a couple years back.
