A NIB buckling spring board for 50% of Unicomp price?  Seems to be a lot of this model number showing up on Ebay recently, not sure why.

I bought one for around 30 bucks 5-6 months a go, for some reason it never worked with my PC... not sure why, tried direct plug via PS/2, then tried with blue cube also, still nothing. I asked the seller if I can return it and get another one as exchange, he said no and I just returned it for refund.... Maeby I had a lemon.... But I noticed one thing though, when I pluged the keyboard the PS/2 cable got warmish/ sort of lightly hot....

Can the black case from this one be swapped onto an F122?

BTW, I thought these terminal keyboards weren't PS/2 compatible and you had to use Soarer's converter or similar?  If the connector got hot perhaps it is the wrong connector and causing a short circuit?

The Model F-122 case is different. Look at the square metal badge on the right.

I think that there were a very small number of the very earliest M-122s that had a mostly-compatible top case shell piece, but even a metal badge on the right does not indicate that it is the proper one.

The model F case is actually about 1 inch wider, and the "raised portion" at the top extends from the "side" keys to the navigation cluster. There are same model M's with the same "shape" of the top case, but I don't know if they are compatible underneath (the F case bolts down to a metal bottom plate, the M case has a plastic bottom)

The keycaps should work, though.

Thanks - I'm actually interested in making an all-black F122, but I guess I need to use vinyl dye or something on the existing case.
