I'm here.

About Me:

Developer / admin / hacker

Kinesis user since, dunno, 99? My memory sucks.

Joining because of interest in Ergodox... been wanting a totally split version of Kinesis for a really long time.
Also just been generally curious about alternative HIDs for a long time, was surprised when I found this forum a few months ago that I didn't know about it sooner.  Story of my life.  =]

Keyboards used:
Kinesis Contour Pro QD ("Classic" PS/2)
Kinesis Contour Advantage Pro MPC/USB


Layout
Dvorak on contoured, QWERTY everywhere else

Games:
Primarily OpenArena/ Quake variants, with Nostromo n52 or kinensis.
  ASDF motion inverse mouse high sens /cg_drawgun 0  =]

OS: pretty much all.  favorite is BSD.  daily is OSX
Editors: Emacs for heavy lifting, vim to bang on config files, others as needed
RSI history: way back in high school, self taught touch typist, too much reaching with pinky, interest in programming -> emacs pinky (without emacs)

Didn't order anything yet, just discovered it. =]

I wonder if anyone is in Michigan whose has built one?
I haven't done much soldering but I'm willing to grind through it if I knew its what I wanted.

Nobody (besides a few Koreans and a few prototypers) has an eDox yet. :)
