Yeah, that will be real tough. But maybe Lysol adds them to a full set of something else with high demand. I think nobody would complain if he or she had to subsidize 4 arrow keys they don't really need.

That's the only solution that comes to my mind. It means that the purple set will be complete over time, but better late than not complete at all.

Windowed keys would be greatly appreciated!  I like the idea of back-light compatible keycaps as well, but I understand that there may not be as much interest in these - not everyone is a fan of back-lit keyboards.

There's a familiar process with an SP group buy, but I still find it amazing that GMK had already made the caps and that we don't have to wait for production, so I wonder what else might be different.

I know it was a lot of hard work, so thanks again for forging this new path.

Lysol next time we run GB trough GMK you can't let them know. Imagine we start GB and GMK knows about it, they produce they keys ahead of time as they did with the 1st GB, and we only hit 250 MOQ.... That would be a mess

I think it's important that people are sure they'll order when they state their interest in the interest check. I'd think small differences will always occur but most people are older than 18 here (I think?) so it shouldn't be too diffecult to know what they want to have, can afford and will then order...
that way things can go smooth and quiet fast without much risk.

True but the younger members still like the opportunity to own a set.  Who are we to deny them that virtue here on Geekhack.

Most are quite responsible and save up for the acquisition hence there is little risk for everyone in the Group Buy, it's just trying to stop certain individuals from derailing the buy has now become a serious reality  .
