dyesub thick PBT caps - where in the US?
« on: Sun, 10 March 2013, 15:29:34 »
Is there anyplace (in the USA) to purchase thick PBT caps with dyesub legends in a standard "model m" (or WYSE) type color scheme (for cherry switches)?  I don't care if they originally came from China or wherever, I just don't want to deal with the international shipping headaches.  I'd need a full 104 ANSI set.

Thank you
Gary

No - none of those have the old "model M" type of color scheme (modifiers darker than the primary keys.)  It doesn't have to be purely the same colors, but I like the "retro" look of the scheme.

There is none selling like that now anywhere except used market. Keep your eye out for groupbuys coming up.

Yes, but it doesn't have to be white/beige (and without those red symbols.)  For example, I'm currently using "light gray" (really more off-white) and "dark gray" from WASD, but they are ABS and I'm fairly certain I'll have them shiny fairly quickly.  (I'm rough on keyboards.)

I'm _hoping_ that PBT will take longer to wear down.

Take care
Gary

I'm potentially interested in this setup too, although I am partial to unprinted keys...

You can try contacting forum member, Imsto for a set of thick PBT blank keys.
