Yep, the M4-1 is rubber dome. There's a similar version in black with a different FRU made by IBM - that one is literally a ThinkPad keyboard with a bottom housing.

This is NOT the one I refer to. This is an RT3200, also rubber dome.
I can't find any of the old model ones I refer to, but they basically look identical to the Lenovo 55Y9003.
