Uh hum. Interesting. I knew he had the keychains PRE-W0RM, didn't know about the zinc ones, as I said earlier. :)

Now if you're gonna call a deal off after an auction, set a minimum bid.

I mean, if you won't take 20 bucks, say you're starting at 30. Don't start an auction for less than you'll take. Otherwise you'll end up coming off as a douche (e.g. right now).

So, we can just not honor the winner of an auction if we don't get what we wanted, seriously. Seems like a bunch of BS to me. Everyone could simply auction everything theu own and simply say no if they don't get what they want. Mark my words, if this becomes the standard at GH there will be far more issues than the mods will ever want to deal with.

Cactux and I are good friends and pm 4 or 5 days a week, so I am not talking behind his back but he is not a member here. As a  sellers agent you are responsible. Do not skirt the issue. It was your auction.

So you have an auction with no minimum, back out when you don't get what you wanted to get, and then decide it's ok for someone else to lose money so that you don't for not upholding your end of the bargain?  Good luck with anyone ever trusting you on a sale again.

Some personal advice-

Bite the losses this once. Admit you screwed up, pay the extra, and ship the keys to the winner. It may cost you a bit in the short run, but it would make people a lot more comfortable doing business with you in the future than the current business model of taking your customers money and delivering nothing, or half the promised product.

I was at Quick Trip yesterday. I bought a candy bar. After I paid for it the cashier told me I couldn't have it. The guy behind me told the cashier he was being a douche so the cashier broke off half and gave it to me.

Now replace the words Quick Trip and candy bar with mmmty and keycaps. Do you realize how ridiculous the premise is now?

EDIT:

No!! You have to bid on it. If the winning bid is not too low, then you might win it.

Ya know what. Nevermind. You're obviously-

a. scamming somebody
b. using a second account to troll us
c. just that oblivious

At first I thought this was a joke, considering how rude you just were and would just keep his money.. Then you say fine I'll let him choose a key after all you guys complain. I think complaining is necessary, considering you posted these for auction, no minimum bid, then after you didn't get what you call them complainers? Haha you try and set another item up for a bidding auction, who would ever even want to bid on that after what they just read?

So you added it afterwords and are now trying to pass it off as being there the whole time.

After this debacle, I'd be amazed if anyone is willing to trade with you again.

But, some people are supposed to find trolls funny. This wasn't people weren't sure if you were being a impassive douche and the continued to be worried about the guy who lost out.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)
