In my quest to try all the coffee beer brews, I checked off these two this past week. I have had the Spaghetti Western for quite some time in my fridge, so I'm hesitant to make my judgement on it. That said, it felt a bit flat and underwhelming. I bought some really highly rated brews before I went down to school, this being the second to last one (I have Trappistes Rochefort #8 waiting for me to finish finals). I agreed to save them for special occasions and never considered any situation good enough. I'll try to pick one up and drink it fresh.
The Springfield Brewery Mudhouse Stout was great - at first. Still an enjoyable brew, but given the choice, I'd pick Mother's Winter Grind over the Mudhouse Stout 9 times out of 10.
I was just told about Boulevard's Early Rise Porter being released at the start of this next year. I look forward to giving it a try. Otherwise, I'm just trying to find more coffee brews to try.
