Looks like one of the spring over membrane boards or rubber dome boards that takes cherry style key caps.

I have to disagree - they look nothing like the Futaba housing. Especially not with the metal assembly there. The housing is substantially different.

I'd honestly be slightly surprised if it was rubber dome. Just because of that metal on the housing. But it also looks like they're attached to the plate rather than through it, so, only slightly surprised.

ok,so basicaly what you're saying is: go 'n grab it for whatever price, coz it's one hell of a unique switch, disassembly it and post the pictures. right?  ;D

Pretty much, yep. Especially if it's from a Communist Bloc country. Might be something completely different we've not seen before. :)

ok,just to clarify: the keyboard is not unknown,it's this one:

but still, the switch is a question. what if it's just a rubber dome variant of whatever switch.
the guy selling this one isn't selling it for cheap,so I just want to know if it's worth trying..16865-0

I know that the Apricot keyboards aren't all that common.

Based off of the Function row up top, I'd be willing to bet it's spring over membrane or something along those lines.  Don't be expecting some super awesome mechanical board.

Er, wow. So, uh.

This keyboard has an LCD display in it. And the original system had a Winchester. Oh, and that's possibly adaptable to AT but don't count on it.. the cutout's for a phone accessory they marketed. So there's probably some serial comms in the mix.

(Attachment Link)

Appears to be a Mitsumi-Cherry switch, possibly on a Chicony KB-5192 keyboard.
