[SOLD] Build your own ghetto green TKL
« on: Wed, 27 March 2013, 01:54:40 »
I have a ghetto green QFR that I made by putting black springs into a brand new QFR with blue switches. I had a feeling is wasn't going to like greens, but I did it anyways just to try it. I don't like greens...haha. So here's your chance to have a MX (ghetto) green QFR with options to customize it with what I have available. Shipping is free in the U.S.

Base:
1. QFR pcb with ghetto green switches - $90

Choose a case:
1. Gray QFR case (new, unbranded) - add $10
2. Black Filco clase (used but in good condition, detachable usb modded) - add $10
3. No case - $0

Choose your key caps:
1. Stock QFR keys, unbranded - add $10
2. Mint green engraved PBT (104-set, used, excellent condition, pictured on board) - add $40
3. Blank black PBT (104-set, brand new) - add $40
4. No key caps - $0

Choose your LEDs (attached or desoldered for free):
1. red caps lock
2. red scroll lock
3. red win lock
(I might have some other colors available, but I don't know how many of each and how well they'd match)

Choose your USB cable(s):
1. Generic white cable (thin, 4ft) - add $1
2. Retractable black cable (super thin, 2ft) - add $1
3. No cable - $0

I'd be short one chase for my boards if I did...haha. I'd sell you the entire Filco with blues if you're interested.

Noob question, you have it modded so that you can now change the switches without any desoldering?
Current: HHKB Pro 2, 87u 55g 10AE, FC600C, Model M 1391401

Nope, the board still has the stock plate, so any switch modding will require desoldering.

I'm with remedyhalopc, I'd love to buy that Filco case or the unbranded QFR case, but I don't have the money for everything understand that'd be inconvenient for you to sell just the cases.
