TKL Keyboards with Cherry Stabilizers
« on: Wed, 03 April 2013, 01:03:28 »
Hello there,

I would like to add one more keyboard this year to my already growing collection.

But seeing as I have all Costars stabilizer keyboards, I would like to get a Cherry Stabilizer based keyboard.

Which ones are out there, and which ones are the best in your opinions?

Thanks  :)

If you don't want backlighting, or don't care, I'd say go with the Ducky Pro. Comes with stock PBT caps, and is I think the best all around cherry stabilized board you can buy.

Ok, I see you've listed the best ones out there.

What about the cheapest, and mid-range?

Ideally I want something that's in the middle range.

Look at my post above. Is Key Cool 87 for $68.99 too expensive for you?

Sorry I didn't see the price, I just assumed Keycool would be in the Ducky price range. $68 is a great price. I think this is from Qtan am I correct? Doesn't he charge $20 in shipping to USA though?

I think so. Vendor section: http://geekhack.org/index.php?board=81.0

Dunno. For example Unicomp keyboard costs $79 itself, plus $123.36 shipping cost to Russia. Looks like airplane requires 6 times more kerosene to fly from USA to Asia, than in opposite direction.  :)

Keycool 87 had Cherry stabilizers only in the first few batches IIRC, then they switched to Costar(-like) stabs.

Oops. I have updated my post to reduce confusion. Thanks.
