A tip of the day: remove squeaks from Unicomp keyboards.
« on: Tue, 09 April 2013, 15:01:23 »
As far as I'm a big fan of Unicomp keyboards (and all buckling springs in general) I'm disappointed with their build quality, especially the squeaks when you try to bend the keyboard, or when you rest your palms on the front of the casing.
I found a simple quick solution for that: hot glue in all the "joints" in front of the case. Just put some glue in all those holes, put the keyboard together while it's still hot, leave for a while and enjoy your much improved keyboard.
I did that to SpaceSaver M and Endura Pro with great success.
