[WTS] Sapphire HD 6870 + QFR w/ Mx Blues - $180
« on: Tue, 09 April 2013, 23:19:28 »
Hey guys, I've been wanting to pick up a new amd 7xxx graphics for the promotion deal on newegg which would replace my hd 6870. I've had it for a few months but it's in really great condition; I've never done any overclocking on it, and my case has great airflow with dust filters, so the card has been used with great care. I also have a QFR with mx blues that I don't use anymore since I have a Max Nighthawk in browns for my typing needs and a Noppoo Choc Mini in blacks for my gaming needs. The QFR works flawlessly and is also in great condition, just a little shining on the left side of the spacebar. I'm asking for $180 + shipping and will only sell as a bundle because I won't have enough for the new graphics card if I only sell one of them.

EDIT: Both items will come in their original boxes, but not all the parts (i.e., the vga/dvi adapter) will be included. The QFR will come with the braided usb cable that it originally came with.

EDIT #2: Here is an album for the pictures of the hd 6870 and the qfr: http://imgur.com/a/34776

Also,  the Geek Hack keycap will be included :)

ever considered crossfiring the 6870, I got 2x 6870's with my I5 3570K and they are keeping the CPU at load..... I would only upgrade with series 9xxx , skip the 8xxx series and most likely go for 9970 single card to replace both of my 6870's. But once when I go for 9970 I would have to OC the CPU to 4.3Ghz which it does on stock voltages!!!!!!!!!!

Think about it m8, 6870 in CF scale better than any card out there, AMD hit right on the money with the 6870's, look up charts it practically creeps really close to to 6990 which is a dual 6970 with slower speeds.

I have thought about that for a while, but the promotion on the newegg for free bioshock+tomb raider with a purchase of a 7xxx card is awesome. And I have been really satisfied with the performance of my 6870, so I was really only looking for a slight improvement.
