Weird LED problem...
« on: Wed, 10 April 2013, 18:47:36 »
My Cherry g80 8113 arrived today.
I plugged it in, and itworks great, except the three lock led's don't light up.
Caps lock works fine, but the led doesn't light up.
The num lock led blinks extremely dimly and doesn't change when I press it.
Could this be some kind of software problem?
I'm using Ubuntu if that makes a difference.

Seems there are a lot of reports of various keyboard lock led not working correctly under various linux distros. Never heard this problem on Cherry G80 yet though. Are you using any adapters for connection?

If it is PS/2 did you plug it in before you powered on the computer?

Nope, usb, but I tried replugging it, removing the other keyboard and booting with this one, still no luck.
