QuickFire TK Quality Issues
« on: Thu, 11 April 2013, 11:05:40 »
So after trying two different quick fire storms one with reds from amazon and one with browns from newegg they both had some quality control issues.

I decided to try a quickfire tk with blues (I wanted browns but couldn't find one) well first I thought it came with a keycap puller but none was to be found in the box and a few of the keys have paint flaking off/bubbled up right out of the box.

I really want to like these cooler master keyboards but I'm about to give up.

Listen dude, no matter from what company you buy the LED board, keycaps will give up on you really fast. These type of coating wont hold, the only company that has durable/Industrial keycaps for LED keyboards is TG3 AKA deck... Those caps are mix of PBT outer shell, ABS see trough inner shell and legends are dyesub in a way to accommodate light going trough the cap... I might be wrong but I think SP makes these keycaps for TG3 and Deck.
