Hi, folks! I'm buying my first mechanical keyboard soon. I know that I want brown switches and the 108-key style keyboard like Ducky's.
I was also looking at the Keycool 108, but I don't know enough yet to decide. I found the Keycool 108 here
http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=403It's not listed on the English version of their website
http://www.kc-keycool.com/en/ ; just the Chinese side here
http://www.kc-keycool.com/product.php?mod=detail&id=35. And I can't find any reviews on it.
I hope you knowledgeable guys don't mind answering a few questions for me.
1.) Is Keycool a good reliable brand comparable to Ducky?
2.) How do I know if it will be 100% compatible on US Windows?
3.) It comes with POM keycaps. They seem to be rare. I've read they are slick, but the pictures show a kind of texture. Are they good?
4.) Keycool 108 switches are plate-mounted, while Ducky is PCB. Is one better?
5.) What's the point of NKRO toggle button? Why would you want to turn it off?
I hope that's not too much for 1 thread. Your help is appreciated.
