Tactile Deprivation
« on: Wed, 24 April 2013, 02:47:20 »
Hi Guys and Girls,

As i see it people cannot do without some sensory feel when they act with an apparatus.

There is a movement towards tactile response, but why did we move away in the first place?

There are already haptic software keyboards for Android that vibrate the phone slightly when you have activated a key.

Still not tactile, though. You can't feel the keys without activating them. You can't press the keys.
BTW, "Haptics" means that there is some active kind of response from the device.
