I was spending all my time testing a few different cpu & motherboard configurations. After those didn't work the last thing on my mind was GeekHack.

I must have not read well enough as to when this sale was going on. Oh well...congrats to all those that made it!

I'm in the same boat as you. My email was received at 2 seconds after 10 and I didn't get in. I assume we chose the more popular colors and they were all spoken for by the time our emails showed up.

Either way I'll keep trying in future sales/lotteries. These caps are just way too cool

My first two were not listed as rare (Army man green and Essence of kirkle), and one of my alternates was not listed as rare (Irradiated red). Figured I would have gotten at least one since I tried to go common heavy.

You shouldn't get dropped out of the sale if one or two of three are not available, you should just get what was available if you were in the front of the queue by submitting early. Maybe your message wasn't to me *shrug*

Only scenario I can see why I did not get in (besides something shady) is that most people asked for a couple of the common ones so they actually sold out first and then none of the others I put as alternates were available either so I got nothing. Unless gmail was wrong about my message being received at 10:00:00
