That's just the time that his mail server responded "yes, send me an email pls." Depending on your location the actual receiving of the email may have taken a second or two to propagate throughout the interwebs.

So what you're saying is that, by the laws of physics, no email received exactly at 10:00:00 could have been sent after the start time of the sale and would have to have been sent before the start time and therefore should be dq'd.  I can get behind that.  :D

What I'm saying is. These two steps will give you an edge over the normal person.

1. Be on the same email provider - This will reduce the network latency so the email will begin sending faster
2. Send the email as text only - Sending as text and HTML (like most clients do) will almost double the time it takes to send the email because it has to send it twice.

If you do these two things, I guarantee you'll have a much better chance getting into the next sale
