Need help with writing an article about mechanical keyboards
« on: Tue, 30 April 2013, 21:36:04 »
Hello, I'm a student studying communications and media in Australia and for one of my classes we have to interview someone for a story we are writing. I plan to write a story about mechanical keyboards, what exactly they are, and about the community of them, modding, group key-cap buying, DIY stuff etc.

Which is where you guys come in. I was hoping if I could possibly interview one of you and just ask you some questions about mechanical keyboards and this community that you are a part of. It does have to be an audio interview though, so we could perhaps record it through skype?

I can understand how this might sound strange, but I just wanted to write a story on something I love and this came to mind. So if you have any questions just PM me or post in this thread or something.

I look forward to hopefully hearing from you guys!

I would consider it, but you need other opinions than mine - I am an outlier for sure. As a non-gaming, buckling-spring devotee, my orbit is certainly eccentric from the norm around here.

It would be easiest for me around mid-day (Eastern time -5 GMT) but that is mid-night for you.

PM me and we could set up an appointment for today/tomorrow.

edit - I see that you are a newbie, so maybe you are blocked from private messaging. email me at  topvendor@gmail.com

“These economic royalists complain that we seek to overthrow the institutions of America. What they really complain of is that we seek to take away their power."
He paused for a moment, then thundered, “Our allegiance to American institutions requires the overthrow of this kind of power!”
“In vain,” Roosevelt said, “they seek to hide behind the Flag and the Constitution. In their blindness they forget what the Flag and the Constitution stand for. Now, as always, they stand for democracy, not tyranny; for freedom, not subjection; and against a dictatorship by mob rule and the over-privileged alike.”
- Franklin Roosevelt 1933
