Has anyone done a review of the RF HIPRO?
« on: Thu, 02 May 2013, 23:46:28 »
Has anyone got a chance to try one of these out?  I haven't been able to find a review on one of these anywhere.  Please point me in the right direction.

Thanks

I've only heard from one person who has Hi-Pro (broadcast equipment) and normal Topre boards. He didn't think the Hi-Pro switches were all that great.

I don't really understand where the market is for these extra high keys. Regardless, the color scheme and shapes of the Hi-Pro keys looks awesome. :)

Elite Keyboards shows ETA May 5th so the reviews should soon follow. It looks like the Hi-Pro has a longer plunger & switch housing with more bearing surface area. Maybe it may improve the stability and smoothness of the already excellent Topre design. Only when the reviews and user feedback becomes available we will know. I'm interested to see what possible benefit it may or may not have. Seems to me its design would be more rugged if nothing else. I really like the keycaps on it and hope they become available.
