I have always admired mech kbs from afar, but have not got to own one myself.
$$$ was tight during varsity years..but now, different story

I am currently looking for one that will last me for years to come, if not forever.
Popular models here are Ducky, CM storms, filco.

Ducky Shine 2 has been in my mind for quite some time now. Friends and vendors recommend it. However, I learnt that this model is EOL (end of life).

Should I wait for the new model? Or take the leap of faith?

The sole distributor of Ducky is just a few minits from my place....ah.. the temptation

User jabar quoted 'Ducky is about to release what they're calling Shine 3s, DK2108S, which are more competitively priced than the older Shine 2s, DK9008/DK9087 TKL.'

Tried to confirm with my local vendor about it but did not get a definite answer. Guess I will have to wait.

Good news for my wallet though! haha
