I'm glad you like the white Alps iMav, I figured you would.
They are nice. However, let it be known that, now having used both, I prefer the blue Cherry switches over the white Alps. The "click" of the blue Cherries seem more exact or precise...somehow crisper than the white Alps switches. (it may simply be that the "crosshair"/plus protrusion in the Cherry switch provides a more stable connection to the keycap (no wobble) compared to the single "dash" notch in the Alps switch)
But the white Alps are certainly respectable...and I can see how someone might favor them.
Given an optimal layout, I'd be happy to type on a white Alps 'board on a regular basis.
