Realfoce 87U and OSX
« on: Mon, 06 May 2013, 22:56:33 »
Hi

If you use a 87U and a Mac, do you find your keyboard stops responding every time the Mac wakes from sleep? Every time I had to reconnected the USB plug.

I would try to reset the PRAM and see if that works. Might be an issue related to your os and not the realforce.

Oh I've noticed that too. But I only use a Mac at work, and I unplug the Realforce and lock it in my desk every night, so it never really bothered me.

Hmm.. that's rather interesting. I'll have to try that. I know my FC660C has had zero problems with that on my 11" MBA.

PRAM reset didn't work.

More specifically, if I use RF to wake up the Mac, it's dead afterwards. If I use anything else like a mouse, it seems ok. strange. but at least there's workaround.

Yeah, it happens to me as well on my Mac Mini in my office.  I've just learned to use the power button, or the mouse.  Haven't tried it on my Retina yet, but haven't noticed the problem when I use it with Snow Leopard.  Seems like a Lion/Mountain Lion deal.
