all my computers can't identif kmac le keyboard :/ its not working at all.
the leds are working but what can i do ?!!

You say all computers so I'm going to assume it really is the KMAC not enumerating properly.

1) What LEDs are on?  Do they ever change?  What do you mean they are working?  I assume Caps Lock doesn't respond, for example.

2) Did it ever work?  Did you do anything special that caused this behavior?

3) Do you have the KMAC programming software installed?  Specifically, do you have FLIP installed?
If so, we can test to make sure the electronics are still alive.
  3a) Unplug the KMAC, hold CapsLock, and plug it back in.  The LEDs should remain off and it should be recognized as an Atmel AVR.  If this works we know the thing is still alive.
  3b) If it is still alive, why not try reprogramming it using the normal procedure?

4) Sometimes my keyboard screws up and I have to go into device manager, uninstall the device, then unplug it and plug it back in to be re-recognized.  Have you tried that?

allright so :
ididnt install the flip or any other programm yet.
esc,all f-keys and wasd works , if i plug in scroll caps and controll blinks.
Idid what you said plug out and caps and all the led's went out this works.

point 4 didnt worked tryed that some times.

Should i install flip now whats the next step. Thx alot for the quick and good answer !!!

never worked. just the led's
and idid what u said about the tab the led's are now out.

tab?  you mean caps lock?

1) Contact the person who sold it to you.  Did they sell you a lemon?

2) Try to program it:

okey sooo i was trying to do something , and installed flip and kbd mod and made the kmac.xml file but cant do the next about here:
Remap the key map and the "Funktion" key map using the table below for the bottom row .
this step is not working can't select the this stuff.
by the way the keyboard worked for 30sec before very wierd and then stoped working.
lemon ? it worked for 30sec idont know the guy is very nice and he said the keyboard worked perfectly when he had it.

You don't have to remap the keys.  At this point we're only trying to bring the board back to life.  Don't worry about the function layer, just use the default layout.

Also,  if it worked for 30 secs, programming probably won't help.

Yeah one time when my keyboard stopped worked was actually because of the cable also, there's a good chance on that

Hi all,

Seller here. When I got the KMAC it was plug-and-play. I follow the steps provided by metalliqaz to reprogram my layout. Then evolyn approached me with regards to buying my KMAC. Before I sold it to him I reprogrammed it to the default layout and it was working fine, I tested this through and through. I would never sell a broken item.

I think to start, you should check your device manager and check the driver. If I had to guess, the device driver is not detected and automatically installed so you will have to manually install the driver for the ATMEGA32U4 controller.

good news its working now with a diffrent usb cable. Iam very confused....
itryed both cables with my main computer but only 1cable with this computer and the cable that seems broken works perfectly fine with my poker at my regular computer. Thx 4 all the help seems to work now.
If the problems comes up again i will write in this thread but iam happy that it works.
