How to fix costar stabilizers?

Some of the longer keys on my keyboard are squeaky and stiff; there's a significant difference in typing on the shift key and the backspace key, for example. I don't know why, does anyone have a fix for this?

Try lubricating the wire. That seems to be the most common response to this issue..
