May GH key?
« on: Wed, 15 May 2013, 08:32:00 »
Where is the May Geekhack key? Did we run out of ideas after April??

Also, can we please get a GEEK HACK Esc key in the WYSE colorway? We've had a couple moogle buys now, and a tsangan buy, but still no GH Esc key.

Thanks!

Aren't they a little busy with that full backlit set? I think I remember some talks about that not too long ago.

32 - The Get GH Rich Pack:  The evolving pack of geekhackery from esoomanona
This is an evolving mystery pack. The higher you bid, the more you get. Keyboard, caps (novelty/premium), sets, modding gear. It is what you make of it.

I wanted it to be a mystery because this is an auction to help someone, but I can assure that what you bid will be matched in value.

***Please note that there will not be any CCs in this pack, so please don't let that affect your bidding.***NOW INCLUDES 1 CC via tsangan (mx or topre, buyer's choice)

90% of price will be given to the auction at hand, 10% will be donated to geekhack. Shipping will be a separate deal, to be discussed after the auction with me, determined by how much you've bid/what you've won.

The Wario Keys on Techkeys are Doubleshot PBT. The yellow and white parts are doubleshot and the W is dye-subbed. Definitely possible, just expensive.

there are tons of doubleshot PBTs on techkeys. the early april clover was a doubleshot PBT. i couldn't find any greens that were vivid enough in ABS, so PBT it was :)

LZGHs are very near final production and assembly, so there's no way the polycarb set will be ready by the time LZGHs ship out.

Lol its embarrassing to be out of date on individual keys. Just looked at the site again and I can't believe I missed all of those. ><

Anyway I hope backlit sets will still be available by the time backlit Poker IIs come out... I'm also guessing if this set is successful then more polycarb sets will come. :D Here's hoping.

WYSE and Dolch and Miami Geekhack keys?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
