Custom plates
« on: Sat, 18 May 2013, 05:55:54 »
Hello guys, sorry if this has been posted or this is the wrong place to post it but can anybody tell me a place to get a custom plate that allows the switches to be opened without desoldering? I am not talking about any particular board, I just want to see how much are the plates selling for and where can anybody get one of them. Also how hard will it be to make one by yourself, anybody got exp with that? Thank you in advance guys.
What the hell am I even doing

Universal TKL Plate by WhiteFireDragon
Phantom Plates for the Phantom PCB
Some korean boards have them too.

All you need to make one yourself is a design in CAD, and a place to laser cut. This will be a lot more than GB price. Let me know if you actually want some plate designs.

Beast has also had some Poker plates made, and all the GH60 plates will allow for this.

PS - Photekq, which Korean boards? I'm only asking because I don't believe this is possible with KMACs.

Some of the LZ boards. KMACs don't have the custom switch holes. I didn't include the 60% board plates since they can be PCB mount & can be removed anyway.
