The keyboard kit has been assembled, as I've had a number of interested people who could not do so on their own.  I've been typing on the keyboard since yesterday to make sure everything works well :)

I'd do $350 (Postage is to be included in that, not on top) for the keyboard and the PBT caps? I get paid Wednesday.

edit: nvm - get paid a week wednesday and you probably won't wait that long.

Hey, Blu :)  It wasn't so much waiting--I was just hoping to get some local offers, as I have some fears about sending keyboards internationally (unless it's Canada).  Although if you're willing to do a full declaration of value to include insurance, I could think about it.

For some reason, when shipping to the UK, insurance is only available for the Priority Mail Express International tier, which costs $58.68 + $2.35 including insurance = $61.03 for insured shipping and 5-10 day delivery time.  Then you'd also have some possible import tax, as full value would be indicated on the box.  If you are willing to take risks, standard First Class International costs $33.39, but no insurance, but I would hate to be held accountable if the post decides to smash the box.  This is why I'm trying to sell locally.

well with that $60 an the $270 that'd be 330 anyways, and I said I#d pay 350 but then I wanted the other caps which is unfortunate because that d only really leave me with 20 for those which I doubt you'd do. Otherwise I'd say yes I'd pay that express and insurance :D

Since you've been asking for a while, they are yours by next Wednesday if I still have the keyboard and you decide that you want it.  Just contact me then and we'll see about details.  Only other thing of note is that there's 4% PayPal fee for Goods and also I'd look into your import taxes.  (Alternatively, I also have that set of red Tai Hao caps, minus the space bar, but that's all I have available from currently unused sets).

Well as I put in my edit it's a week wednesday* Just double checked. It's fine though, if that other guy buys it he buys it. I mean I'd pay a bit extra if you could reserve it for me? :P

I'm sorry, I don't do reserves, unless it's a day or two or I know who you are--I've had a lot of things fall through after being  'reserved' over the years.  Best that you have that time to think about it too and don't feel pressured if you decide to change your mind.  You can send me PMs from this point, so we don't keep bumping this thread.

E-profile windowed cherry cap.. Good luck  they're incredibly rare. From an OTD GB that happened a few years back iirc.

seriously, good luck with an E profile cap, reproduction or not. extremely rare. the boards that the B profile come on naturally cost around $300 used on the forums. you can find 2100s in other places however.

there were some reproduction with the B profile too, but still in an extremely low quantity. believe that gb happened in feb/march 2013. it was a super low quantity gb with gmk, and now the gb is impossible to do over without paying a lot of money, because of the cherry logo being used by gmk.

I'm not sure about reproduction with the E profile, i've never heard anything about that ever.

good luck! i want one too :)

I want to call it a steampunk keyboard, but it looks too modern for that in person.  My goal was to have a very warm vintage-style glow in amber and warm white tones.  I once saw someone's Pure with orange backlight and I think metal keycaps, and it stuck with me as something I wanted to experiment with in the future.  Can't find the image now :(  The gold aluminum is not as bright in person--just hard to photograph accurately.

edit: I think it was this guy's Poker, but different photos of it:

They are Cherry because of the LEDs.  Standard Costar stabilizers are not LED-friendly :(  With a couple of exceptions, all the backlit keyboards you will see have Cherry stabilizers.
