One last bump before I forget and fall asleep. The little helper who has been helping me with the trips to the post office is not going to be available a whole lot after tomorrow, so i'll close this up in the afternoon until i'm feeling a bit better.

You're in luck mate, found you a 7U spacebar wire! It's off an Alps board but the wire inserts are cherry so I'll send those along as well!
