Where to buy filco keyboards in Europe?
« on: Sat, 01 June 2013, 12:32:01 »
Hi there,

Last time I bought a das keyboard professional from getdigital, but got pissed off when I realized it had a friggin' Fn key that I find useless and can't even automate with AHK (totally my fault for not making super certain, but never thought about it before).

In any case, I would like to buy an extra keyboard for home and I was thinking on trying out a filco keyboard with cherry mx brown. Any recommendations with the models I should look at? Which sites/retailers can I get them from in Europe? (found http://www.getdigital.de/products/Filco_Majestouch_Profi_Tastatur/lng/en, but maybe there's a better/cheaper site out there)

Cheers,

Have a look on http://www.keyboardco.com/

How about the filco models to look into? (interested in brown/red switches, mainly for typing)

Sometimes I wish Germans made all their shops available online in English. They appear to have an amazing market with low taxed or low cost items that could sell well anywhere nearby.

I got my Filco TKL from keyboardco, great company as they let me send my cherry blue back which I didn't use though.

What do you mean, they let you swap the one you weren't using for the filco one or...?

Yeah they gave me a filco red for free, a year later now I miss the blue switch.
