Hi everybody! i've just completed the registration, and i can't wait to ask you some things about an old keyboard I found, but before that, let me introduce myself:
My name is Lorenzo, i'm a young italian guy who discovered, after watching some videos and reading on the net varioous forums and documents, to have a passion for keyboards, in particular for old fascinating mechanical ones.
As I said before, after reading about mechanical keyboards, and how the mechanical switches was the standard in the old keyboards, i did a search in my dad's garage, and surprisingly i found a working Cherry G80-1000, from 1987.
I've picked up a adaptator to put that working on the PS2 port, and after i typed on it, i fell in love.
i mostly use keyboards for typing purposes, and not for gaming..
And that's it! i'm very happy to join this community, and i hope you will help me in the topic I'm going to make for my Cherry.
